Quite a load of ordnance in the trailer. I expect they used it all in short enough order.
The word "PENSION" on side side of the building means 'hotel' in Dutch. The construction looks reminiscent of Holland or maybe parts of Luxembourg. Given the cold weather gear, ample munitions, and exhausted look, I'd guess spring '45?

This album appears to show U.S. troops heading towards the front during the opening days of the German Offensive during the Battle of the Bulge
Most of the pictures appear to have been taken in/near Malmedy and Spa in Belgium
