M1903 to M1922's using M-2 parts
Yes Fick it can be done. I used to do it but the supply of M-2 barrels dried up. I still own two conversions and one M1922. One .22LR is as a standard
1903 service rifle but with a Lyman 48 long slide rear target sight. Just used it this weekend training in my offhand shooting at 100 yards. The second one is a 1903A3 converted to a M1903A4 sniper with a Type "C" stock. The third one I have is a M1942 USMC type sniper with a 20 power Unertl scope. This one is built on a M1922 receiver made in 1925. It's my golf ball gun for shooting golf balls at 100 yards. Frank Jr.
