Likely Ball Frangible, if the bullet color is gray it is a bakelite-composition light load for aerial gunner practice. These are light loads fired in special .30 Brownings with floating chambers fired from bombers, stateside, against specially tough-skinned P-63 Kingcobras. The P-63's were even equipped with flashing "pinball" lights to show hits. It was common in quantity in the late 50's as surplus, and a friend shot away tons of it learning to shoot as a junior. They are corrosive, but pleasant to shoot, and reasonably accurate at 100 to 200 yards. Dates should be '43 to '45 or so. I forget the "T" number.
