My 1942 Inglis Bren has arrived after its long trip, complete with bren transit chest and original paperwork going back to the early 1950's. :thup:
It's sitting in garage and needs to be unpacked and a detail photo montage done. I'll post the pics when I get that finished...
When I was a young trooper back in the early 60's, I trained on first the Sten SMG and Bren Gun, before they switched us over to the Sterling SMG and FNC2.
I loved the old Bren and most of the guys I trained with preferred it over the FNC2, hating to see it retired....
I guess I'll have lots of questions for you Bren experts here once I start pawing over it.
