M1922 MII for comments

Hello Sirs, another recent pawn shop pick up. Any info or comments would be appreciated. The finish is likely not original but does not look like the normal reparks that I usually see and it appears to have the original barrel.

7062 m1 were made w/1927 dated barrels.
Looks good, of course the eye cup I'd in correct.

Thank you.. I believe the aperature is a Merrit with adjustable iris.

I'd love to find one of those. They just don't appear here in Canada.

I waited years for one on PEI. An old gentleman had it in his house and didn't want to sell it. A friend of mine knew I was interested in it and 5 or 6 years later he was selling it from the gentleman's estate and he called me about it. The one I have has the correct eye piece and I picked up a spare mag off Canadian Gun Nuts last year.
Great shooter and didn't appear to have had many rounds through it.
I also have an 03 manufactured in .22 with the use of M1922 M2 barrel and bolt.
