What is the thought on the U.S. ordnance mark on wolfganggross's shotgun?
I borrowed wolfganggross photo for clarity

looks fishy, and not in the right place..id like to see the top of the barrel and receiver as well, and the other markings.

i did see them, and im still on the fence.
the markings look suspect to me.
the early 97,s iv seen had had the US stamped on the left as well, but more foward.
nice shotgun, but with a later type guard, refinished stock, im just not sure.
