Picked this one up today. If I'm correct about the date, its the earliest VZ24 I've ever gotten my hands on. '29' on the left of the ring, (so I'm guessing 1929) Czech acceptance stamp seems to have been crossed out. Only non matching part is the bolt. Matching stock. 'I' block rifle and excellent bore. There is a strange marking above the number on the bolt handle, so I'm not sure the bolt is Czech.
So, meant for export? As stated, she's non import marked, but it could have been brought into the US pre 1968.
Really pleased with this one.
