I have an R.G. Owen Springfield , #716 in 30-06. It is a true work of art.
Are there any records on these rifles ? The "story" that came with mine is that it once belonged to Templeton Crocker (Yacht "Zaca") who gifted it to a Marine Corp Major in 1942 in San Francisco. As well as an interesting story of how the Major put it to use.....
