I think you got a nice shotgun there. It even still has some of the red paint on the safety button.
620 trench guns are not all that common compared to the other models, except for the WW2 Ithaca trench guns.
One question: In one of your photos, the two spot welds that attach the heat shield to the bayonet adaptor look a bit strange. It may just be the photo. But they should be fairly smooth.

It looks to me like the left side has one very smooth spot weld and the other a bit rough like the welder was too hot. On the right there is one just like it but the other weld looks to be broken. The weld that appears to be broken is still attached to the adapter and has blue finish on it and the guard cracked around the weld. The guard is very much fixed to the adapter with no movement when I pull up on it. That being said I am not sure why it looks like that. I have seen others that are similar. Maybe someone else will chime in. Attached are a couple more pics of the welds. Thanks again for your help.

nice over all gun, wish mine was as nice.
shows the markings on left and right sides...
riot and training guns have them one same side, the left.
the 620,s i have are one training gun, and one riot, one orginal finish, the other is a refinish.
