Slide box of an IP and top of a Brit proof crown on bolt of a WRA for comparison. Mike.
Help me to understand, If it was British the stamping is a crown with cross scepters right ?. I`m not sure. I have a standard carbine and the crown and cross scepters is located on the barrel nothing on the bolt or rec. Bill
Not exactly sure of the reason why, but here's another IP that has had both it's receiver and bolt double punched. Any others out there??

All were rejected. Had to be re proofed
Thanks Marcus. That makes sense. Wouldn't they have double punched all of them or only a certain number out of a lot?
Additionally the bolt is a S'G'
No idea. Just a guess as to why. They rejected like 5000 of them
The IP on GB is SOLD !!

Congrats to new owner. Hope to see more photos.
Well I bit the bullet on the IP. I will get it in about two weeks. Save up your questions and I'll try and answer them. Thanks, John
I would love to see pictures of the slide
