Hi everyone I'm new to Rifle shooting this year but was formally a keen classic auto pistol collector and shooter in the UK until the Government took my pistols.
Finally made the effort to join a UK rifle club at the beginning of this year and have made my first of many purchases a No4 Mk1 which is being held on a dealer'friends licence until I get my FAC .
Looking forward to lots of late nights wading through all the posts and faqs on here and i'm sure to be posting frequently to ask for advice .
see you on the range

Great MilSurp website!
Hi all,
My name is Matt, I've been collecting MilSurps for about 10 years.
Mostly M1 Garands and SKS's.
I came to find this site on the CMP Forums and fell in love instantly.
Hope to be a contributer and not a lurker...
Regards,
~Matt (en bloc)

Another "new guy"
I had been "lurking" for some time, and enjoying the information I've gotten, so having exceeded my allowable views without joining, I am now registered. I had been active in both 3 and 4 position smallbore rifle, schuetzen rifle, and high-power rifle competition until a back problem reared its ugly head. I have sucessfully had surgery, and some new parts "instrumentation" installed. My surgeon had just given me the green light to do what I want, including picking up a rifle again!!! I'm Psyched, :dancingbanana:and will try to see what I've lost or kept these past 4 years. Hopefully, I will be an asset to this on-line community. Catch you all later - Vee

Hi guys,
New member here, but have been posting at Gunboards, CGN, Parallax Bills, and IMAS forums for years under this name.
I'm from New Zealand and collect Finnish miliary bolt rifles 1918-44, with a secondary focus of Japanese WW2 rifles.

Hi' all
Just registered. I am married to the same lady I courted over fifty years ago, 50th aniversary coming up new Years Eve 2010. I've recently received from CMP a SA SG M1 Garand, sn 5920xxx, 1955, 4-55 barrel, rest mostly correct. But there's a sad story I must get some sympathy for. My darling wife ordered a Field Grade SA for my Christmas gift, and it CAME THIS MORNING! But while I was signing, she confiscated the Long Brown Box and WRAPPED IT UP!!!!
It's now under the tree and I've been ordered not to touch, fondle, lift, shake or otherwise molest the package upon pain of getting a lump of coal in a stocking(That'd make a good weapon.)!! I'm terribly mistreated, and she just gives a malicious giggle when she sees me looking at it. Never realized she was like that!! Anyway, looking forward to gleaning lots of good info from you guys.

New guy
Good evening from a hot South Africa,
I have been trying to get information on the Lee Enfield No.4 Mk2. rifle front sight windage adjustment. I bought one recently and after testing accuracy it is clear that the windage has to be adjusted.
From information obtained off the Web it appears that windage cannot be adjusted with the rear flip up sight and that a special tool is needed to adjust windage on the front sight.
I will be grateful if someone can help me with this information.
Regards
