As soon as I receive it I will be asking for the serial number search you've been providing. I very much want to find out about when it was made and who received it.

Simon...what can you tell us about L42 built on Long Branch receiver 50L0027? Asked the question on another thread however no response. Thanks, Ron
Hi,
I own a L42A1 Sn # AV3680. In Case with all original accessories.
Could you please get me details about it?

Simon,
I finally received my L39A1 and aside from a slight issue with the rear sight that Fultons is now addressing could not be happier. The serial number is A1224 and I would greatly appreciate you telling me what you can about the gun. Love to know its history.
It is in virtually new condition, having seen almost no use. I took it to the range this last weekend and shot some truly amazing groups with both M118 Long Range ammo and M118 ammo (7.62 NATO 175 and 168 grain respectively). I've attached a picture. The group at 12 o'clock is M852 LC67, but the two groups at 2 and 5 o'clock are the M118LR and the M118. These were shot at 200 yards.

Hello all!
I have L39 A781!
I also have what I think is one of the modified Bren Bipods.

As you can see to fit the mounting pin a hole was to be drilled into the stock and this was also retained my screws.
Does anyone have any further info on this type of bipod? Earlier in this thread it is hinted towards modification within the Sussex Police.
Also on another note does anyone have any reference to L42's being modified in service by unit armourers to use a bipod at all please?
Thanks in advance,
Danny
