Question on Stock Value
I have a very nice, I cut, Rockola stock, not modified in any way. RMC in stock well, R/faintM in box on right side. Cartouche not evident but I've not made any attempt at cleaning or refinishing, so it might possibly become evident later. No rebuild marks of any kind. A few dings, faint initials on butt heel, but overall a very sound stock. Downside is its very dark, but think it can be cleaned and refinished to become a very presentable stock. All this to say, I don't have a Rockola, not likely to ever have one, and am thinking of putting the stock up for sale, but haven't the slightest idea what a likely selling price would be. I don't yet have any pictures. Based on the above info, what would be a fair price?

$225 and up.
The better the markings...the more $$ value.
Note that many collectors prefer the dark, original look.
I have a before and after pic of a Underwood stock.
The seller thought there wasn't a CC stamp on it.
After cleaning and a light refinish I could see that the UEF over GHD was lightly double struck or the stamp had rebounded. What was thought to be a knot in the wood was the partial CC. No sign of the circled P proof on the bottom of the pistol grip until after the refinish.
Good Luck,
Charlie

rmc stocks were sent to different manufacturers, depends on who it was meant for, your best bet might be to clean it up a little more to find whatever else os stamped on it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,also, post some pictures
