looks just like the M1a I bought two months ago.
Mine has a Krieger heavy stainless barrel installed in 2010 and 1992 national match's sticker on the stock, unitized gas, and my serial no. is in the low 40,000's too.
I paid $1200 from a friend who had taken it to two shows and had no interest in it for $1,500 here in NE Wisconsin.
I am super happy with it and believe I got a great price.
