The wait time is quite long but it was worth it.
The pictures aren’t great being taken on my junky work table but you can see the stock looks great.

I need an original G43 nose cap. Any spares out there?
And front sight and base.
Using reproduction right now.
That stock looks just about perfect, spot on.
Try Gene Moisey. He seems to have a lot of parts for the G/K.43.

I think Leszek does excellent work despite his bad back.

I have one question about fitment. There is a small gap at rear of receiver between it and the wood, maybe 1/8”.

The action fits perfectly down onto the recoil lug bolt up front. The action screws are snugged up tight. Will that gap cause any problems or will the recoil lug be able to handle recoil energy just fine? I suppose I could slip a small wood shim down in between stock and rear of reciever. But if it isn’t a worry I will let it be.

A little better photos at the range.

After my shooting session my concerns were gone. My observation showed the recoil lug did a fine job. Little if any rearward movement of the lug in its recessed hole.
And the rear gap remains consistent.

Any ideas what I can expect an original barrel band/nose cap and an original barrel band spring to cost for a G43?
Cleaning rod?
