Anyone know if "standard" 1911 grips will fit a wide body? Getting a Rock Island(takes Para P14 mags) ans the black plastic grips leave a lot to be desired. Wondering if it would be possible to use one of the slimmer sets of 1911 wood grips(something like Chip McCormick's "slim carry" grips"?
