Brief range exercise for the Centenarian GEW 98 DWM "Brothers"
Had a vet friend suggest a range trip on 11 11, sort of last minute, so I pulled out a couple of rifles that are 100 years old this year:

Range was rather busy, so I decided just to shoot standing. Put one round from each at 50 yards, both were hitting slightly left, but nothing to get excited about, so transitioned to 100yds (sorry ,no meter range available!)

5 rounds from the "dustcover rifle". Hits high and far left were called. Good enough given the time restraints!

Not so happy was the "plain" rifle. Couldn't call his, often they were opposite of where I thought they would go! So tried some more with same results.
Crown's a bit washed out on this rifle, but, then again, consider the service it saw!
Had to move onto the handgun ranges shortly thereafter, but at least we know these rifles aren't ready for retirement yet!
