I am fairly new to collecting rifles. Very interested in Boer War rifles due to my heritage. I own a Boer DWM Mauser, Westley Richards ZAR carbine and "Chilean Boer" C series DWM.
Also a Swedish M1896 for shooting.

Hello, a little history retired after 27 yrs with Fire Service. Prior to that I put in eight years as a Police Officer.
I have read thru the Milsurps pages prior to registering, sounds like a group that seriously collects firearms with a passion. I do have an interest in the military history of Canada and the world.
Sadly I have no collections other than one I inherited. This is a 1905 Ross Rifle I believe from the forum photos it is a MKII. I have seen pictures of a rifle that matches the one I have exactly on this site. I have sold all my fire arms when I left the Police Force. Simply want to sell this rifle so I will not have to register it anymore and I prefer not to have any fire arms in my residence.
I will be checking this web site to see what developes and find the forums very interesting. Look forward to any comments.
M1 Carbine collector wanting to meet other Canadian collectors.
Not a real collector yet, just very interested to learn. Thanks in advance for all your knowledge I am going to pick!
Good morning to all, just wanted to say Hi to everyone and that I look forward to the use of this site. :)
Well, sort of new. I've been a member for a long time but evidently never posted anything. I mostly look and read. Learn a lot too. I have a 1943 Winchester-made M1 Carbine in what I believe to be quite good condition. Has a sling and bayonet. I pretty sure it's been through the armory. It fires very nicely. Also, have a Springfield M1A, closest to an M14 I could find. So, that's where my interest is. Not looking to sell of trade anything right now, although I do have a really nice SKS that I might trade for an M1 Carbine.
hey everyone. new to this, trying to find a forum to talk with people about identifying older military items. I hope this is a great tool for me and can better my knowledge in field.
Greetings, all!
New to the Milsurps, and glad to be on board. Thanks for having me.
Aloha,
Loren
