Odd metal belt attachment clips on the back. Seems too tight to fit a belt. Markings on the back:

What do I have? It's been lying around here for a long time and I recently discovered it. I have long since forgotten where/how I got it; probably from my long deceased cousin who was a USMC NCO.
Pics would sure help. If they're ALICE clips they always seem too tight.

But my next question is: What belt is this supposed to fit? I have an old school pistol belt with the snap for the old school magazine pouch and, while I haven;t tried to attach this pouch to it, it seems a good bit of effort would be required to get it on there! And, yes, the metal parts on mine are oxidized.
Here, you may have seen these, M1956 belt. Note material is no longer web but nylon.
