St Theresa's School Leaders attended the Porirua Anzac Day service this year and were part of the ceremonial procession which included different organisations in the area, as well as soldiers who had served in past wars and conflicts.
Two of our students laid a wreath on behalf of the school community.

It's always good to see the old boys march - we go to Sandgate here in Brisbane to cheer on my father in law (Japan oocupation force, Korea, and a bit of Malaya, before he got blown sideways). Kind of sad to to see fewer and fewer marching each year as time takes a toll, but it's encouraging to see a good number of people attending, especially the school kids. Lest we forget.....
Hi Guys
I drove my Bren Gun Carrier in the lcal parade and also provided my Jeep and Command car for the parade.
Biggest turn out for many years apparently
Tim
About 2 weeks before ANZAC Day there was a report that some spineless bunch of clowns(politicians I think) wanted ANZAC Day downgraded as it wasn't that important in their view anymore to the population but the numbers attending seem to get bigger every year as the relatives of those who have passed away march for them.
A lot of these spineless clowns don't realise that if it wasn't for the sacrifice of those Diggers they wouldn't be speaking English now or for that fact be born or even have the freedoms that they have to be able to even put such rubbish and dribble out.
