Pawn shop Springfield M1 Garand.
I went by the local pawn shop this AM. and spotted a Garand on the rack. After giving it a visual once over I determined that; no import stamp, nice bore, DOD [P] marked stock, all Springfield parts. There was some minor pitting under the wood. They had it marked at $799 and I ended up getting it for $700 OTD. SN#2606542 Springfield Feb. 1944 production.
