What bits do you use in your duplicator?
What lead bullets are you using? I am interested in trying lead as I cant find jacketed bullets for the Mosin Nagants I have.
Bow: This is off topic... abit... my apoloizes to the forum and delete it if need be. But I curious to know where Bow shoots and at what distances? Do you shoot competitively? I ask because I see...
ANyone try the Privi 6.5mm bullets in Swedish m96's? If so how do they perform(out to 300 yards)?
WarPig1976:
Did the same with some 46/188 7.62x54r ammo. Found that 50gns of whatever powder was used the most accurate. All worthwhile effort IMHO.
I need a taller barley corn front sight for my Swedish m96 rifle. Somewhere in the range of .300 inch or 7.5 to 8mm tall.
The tallest one Numrich has is .275 inch or 7mm.
Did any other Mauser...
Looks like a shooter for the CMP Vintage Rifle Matches!
Ive slugged the 4 MN I have and wouldnt use anything smaller that .312" dia bullets in them. You might try a larger diameter bullet.
Are there vendors that make these bullets or something close?
Can we get this ammo in the USA?
Could I get suggestions for a vendor that would have a SET of Front Sight Blades for a No4 Mk2 IN STOCK.
Ive tried the usuall suspects ie Numrich Arms and the like but dont find them listed.

Ridolpho: Thanks: I got all the parts to fitup. The forestock firmly contacts 1) the receiver socket 2) L/H and R/H draws 3) barrel knox form 4) the fwd area and both L/H and R/H "rails" of the...
Thanks peter. Dumby me.
Should the Trigger Guard Screw Bushing protrude above the stock wood? Mine does by approximately 1'/16". That doesnt seem correct but I thought I'ld ask before the grinder came out. Seems that the...
Ive got my Enfield ForeStock Rear Face to Receiver socket repair under way and have included some pictures.
The stock fits up tightly to both the L/H and R/H Draws and to the Rear Face and...
Fellows: I'll keep you posted of my progress. It may be a while as Ive got other "projects" in line that the wife "asked" that I get done.... first. :)
Thanks Fellows: Let me give you what I "think" my plan of repair may be and get your input. I'll "correct" the gap the rifle has at the rear face of the forestock to butt socket junction. I think...
Fellows: Thank you both. It seems that you both have seen the "issue" I have with this stock fit.
What do you think of the idea of fitting a wooden shim (of beech) onto the rear face of the...
Is your m38 a Husqvarna model? If so IMHO I would NOT do anything that would forever alter it. If you plan on shooting it L/R (in the US thats over 600 yards) I would think you'll need beter sights...
I purchased a 2nd No.4 Mk2 Enfield and found that the fore stock has a +.020 gap between its rear face and the Butt Socket BUT only on one side. I removed the Trigger Guard and found that the Fore...
Any idea what the stock finish was on the Ljungman Ag m/42 rifle?
What method do you all use to apply "red" shellac to the m91/30 to give the finish the look that the the rifles have coming out of the Soviet bloc?
Best of luck to you. I'ld offer a bit of advise... make sure that whoever removes the old scrap barrel cuts a relief cut in front of the reciever to relieve tension on it. I had a beutiful all...
Ive got one also thats an "irish". Using PPU 150gn ammo it will hold inside the NRA SR 10 ring when Im shooting prone and slung up.
Can you lend your handload info?
How can you tell if your MN has a "sticky bolt"? My 4 all seem to be abit "sticky" to open (or is when closing the bolt?) compared to my other mil-surps. I assumed it was a MN thing.
