Does the astericks mean corrosion in the bore or cordware or somthing like that?
Problem is, not everyone has somthing to trade. Some have a little and some have alot. And others may wonder where their trade will end up.

Are you using a good wide screw driver, the one I have has a flat before it goes into the handle and I fit an adjustable spanner on that flat for extra leveridge, I also sometimes (If its tight)...
Chromings got some nasty s*** in it which is why it costs a fortune to do, only the Indians really chrome large scale now due to their 'liberal' health and safety rules, just look at a Royal Enfield!...
This is what both myself and Kev have said, its the locating bits on the gas shield which have distorted, when you zoom in on the pic you can see it twisted.

It looks like its just the locating part of the shield thats got distorted. If you zoom into the square locating bit, it looks twisted and I bet the other side will be twisted the other way.

I think alot of these ex Indian 1A and 1A1 guns were sold off by a well known UK engineering firm, I've seen some with markigns which have been stamped somthing like FTR'd by xxxxxxx Engineering, or...
I read a few years ago an article about reproductions/replicas. If I have this the right way around, it stated that generally a replica was a copy of an item made by the same company/individual as...
Talking of IR scopes and GPMG, what do you think of this Peter?

That may be the problem Peter, some of these post 95 deactivated Brens have that slot ground off. So to really screw things up, they remove the piston (Fair enough) and then weld up or slot the...
It should do but I suspect that the piston post has maybe bent rearwards due to weakening by the deac process. I have seen a number of examples where they have removed so much of the hammer section...
You effectively have the bolt in the locked position but as you dont have a locking shoulder fitted (Being a late deac) the bolt has moved into the locking shoulder recess. You need to tap the bolt...
Yes it is, Peter wrote a good article on this pin somewhere. Basicaly, they milled so far forward that they broke through into the spring recess so they simply (I say simply) inserted a pin to become...

I'd imagine that a gunsmith could make or covert one easily enough. There only made from thin sheet steel and then hardened. Unfortunatly the Webley Mk4 wont fit so dont try that one.
Rytons are selling a section 1 gun by another manufacturer/converter.

I suppose it could all depend if the gun is original or a reweld. There could be quite large differences between rewelds.
They nicked some Cromwells. Just shows that EVERYTHING has to be bolted down and even then its not safe.

My bad, I should have clarified with 'Drill rounds'. Assumption is the mother of all f**k ups as they say.
Kev G will have the answer but I think that the mag or well need a few thous removing to make them fit. I've got a 7.92 Inglis mag (I think they have the same dims as the ZB ones) which is just a...
Can you post a photo of the mags your using, they could be ZB39 mags. If you can't get to the range what happens if you cycle the rounds through by hand?
