I found a donor barrel, so its away to be rebarreled.
Well the re-lining is out as is any further attempt at cleaning. Apparently there are 3 very fine longitudinal cracks in the barrel. Almost invisible to the eye.

Well just got my first quote in. $550 to profile (and chamber) a Shilen barrel down to a Rem-Lee clone. Polished, but not blued.
