I agree, I have a nice original 03A3 that I do not want to mess with.
But I want one to scope as well

There are a couple local for about $450, is that cheap or high ?
One is D&T'ed for weaver mounts and the other Leupold.
If it is drilled to fit weaver, will a Leupold fit up ? I really want a...

Only new rifles I like are Savage, but the 03A3 has always been my favorite and one of my most accurate rifles.

Didn't know they were drill rifles.
Just called them and they did say they are drill rifle recoveries.

I have not seen any 03A3's at all for inexpensive.
I'm actually looking for something cheap...

Any good ?
Any reason not to buy ?

Brownells will take it back, they have their forever return policy with full refund, but as you say the next maybe worse, of course I could send that one back as well.

Recieved a new Wilson barrel from Brownells for my Mauser.
I can see machining marks in the bore, mostly on the lands, you can see it on the bottom land.
Normal or send it back ?

Thanks Guys :) Barrel is original 4 groove that was pristien when I got the rifle
I don't usually shoot 5 shot groups because I am financially challanged :(
But if you notice, target 1 was shot...

1943 four groove
Bedded and floated
No trigger work (Yet)
Also now wheres a CMP stock
Not to worry, Bipod is only setting under it for the photo-op
...

Haven't had a Mauser in awhile, so not sure of the value.

Bought a few years ago in unissued condition, only 300 rounds through it, Maybe 90-95%...

So I received my "C" stock from the CMP :)
It is suppose to be a drop in fit, However it was far from it Should have sent it back :ugh:
Barrel channel not centered, muzzle end to large, action...

Receiver is not D&T, that is an S&K clamp on ;)
I have checked with Boyds, they have no 1903A3 stocks at all :(
Last time I talked to them about 6 months ago, they had no plans of ever doing them...
