I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination, I only have one 03A3 and just got it last year. But I have a list of serial numbers and dates, which I have no idea how accurate it is, and according...
Any more input on this? I have five of these old rifles, and now that Criterion is going to be offering barrels I just may need someone to install one or two. But in the meantime I'd really like to...
Yes, I know Chuck! He did an outstanding job on reparking my M1! But I believe I asked him about Enfields, and I "think" he told me doesn't mess with 'em, but I could be wrong. Might have been...
I may have asked this here before, but I'm looking for a gunsmith in the Denver area that's an Enfield specialist, or at least knows them very well. I have five now, and just want them checked over...
Fluted (grooved) trigger, yes. S/n is 4L4093. I don't know about the front sight protector, but it does have a tiny "S" stamped on the front of the right wing.
It's very hard for me to see inside...

I have a chance to pick up a 1942 No.4 Mk.1* Long Branch in what appears to be very nice original condition, but haven't seen it in person yet. Price is $250 US, and I'd just like to know if that...
The problem is, that many folks nowadays actually believe their cell phone really IS a "camera". Whoever thought up the idea to make cell phones take "pictures" needs to be roundly beaten to a pulp.
I'd love to have a nice Finn Mosin, never even seen one, just heard about them. And you're selling them in your yard? Jeeze.
Sorry guys, I just bought one of these rifles and working on a trade for a second one. I know diddly about them and have some more questions.
My 1917 that I got for $100....I can't for the life...
I bought a sporterized No.1 Mk.3 rifle last Sunday, which I'll do a separate thread on later. But I don't think it has the right magazine in it, at least the mag won't come out of the rifle. I'm...
Gents - I'm not very familiar with Enfield values, and am looking for some info.....
A local guy has a No.4 Mk.1 Rifle for sale, made by Savage and US Property marked. He says it's a lend/lease...
Woooow! I gotta get out more.
Really? So the short ends go on the inside, with the hooks facing outwards? Thanks! I'll have to change that. Don't want the other kids laughing at me! :p
And mine doesn't say "ROF(F)", just "F",...

Is that 1944?
Should be a date on the cartridge headstamps. And there should NOT be a name, such as Winchester or Federal, only abbreviations. Not the whole name, something like WRA 43 or similar.
My Eyes!!! My Eyes!!!
^X2 This!!! Great stuff! The wax is also available as Tom's 1/3 Military Stock Wax, just Google it.
This stock was thoroughly degreased (plumb full of oil) with Dawn Power Dissolver and brushes,...
Huh, rubber guns in movies, whoulda thunk it? That kills my fantasy dream of a big prop warehouse in Hollywierd full of rare guns. But I bet there's still tons of cool stuff locked away on those...
10,000 cans. Nothing left of it but fumes and a dirty spot where it was all stacked up.
colt100 - This company sells lots of dismantled surplus military ammo components. They don't have any AP...
No kidding? Wow, I apologize!!! :( I would have sworn on a bucket of '06 brass that it was a bolt-action rifle that he used in the movie! I'm so sorry! Last time I saw the movie I didn't own a...
OK, I bought this thing shortly after I started this thread. Finally took some photos while sitting in my vehicle, bored out of my mind one night at a jobsite. Authentic or not, it certainly has a...
