No chance it is an A2. If it was, they would have shown the large A2 marking that is in front of the Butt Plate.
Regarding L85A2 Sights. The SUSAT Sight is being replaced by a version of the Elcan Spectre. ACOG Sights were used in Afghanistan.
Peter, the slop Jockeys are supposed to look after them but i always ended up servicing them. Same goes with the No5 Burners, which now run only on Gas.
Regarding petrol cookers. The new ones run on diesel. The No12 looks and functions the same as the old petrol No2.
