    Thanks for your replies. I checked that list already and it isn't listed. The bolt is in a Sept. 1941 rifle, serial #324770 (Brit Proofed) and appears to be all original.

    Garand bolt heat lot question

    M1 rifle bolt- 2SA, heat lot REP 2. What is the serial number range for this bolt? Is this the same as RE 2 or a different number altogether?. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
