Stocks transfers.
Trying to catch up from being out of town.

Went to our local gun show at the Ingham County fairgrounds, Friday, April 12. I was part of the Zombie crowd wandering around looking for powder and primers. I got there 1-1/2 hr after they opened...

The 1947 edition just came in handy.
A fellow member has come across a rear sight aligning tool. (Gage)
We weren't quite sure how to properly use it, until looking in to the 1947 version....
Warren Dorrills' Son disputed that claim.
A link..
See bottom of page 2..

Wonder if he's any relation to old time Carbine Club member Michael Stratton?

Bob,
It was tough to get a good picture showing traces of the bottom of the R.
If you look back at Jimf's post #17 (?) his R over stamp looks more like they stamped harder on the right edge....
Picture #1- shows the R stamped heavier to the top, lightly at the bottom.
Picture #2- I highlighted the R in yellow, the original I in blue.
Picture #3- Pictured from a right angle, just...
If so could you post it?
The OP here I know is on the hunt for one.
Thx,

Bob,
Looks like JimF had/has one marked R.K. with the X on the other side.
I do believe without yet seeing it, you have a partial struck R that looks like a P....... R.K.

Hey Bob,
I passed a email your way.
It's possible the members here may think your a 'Newbie' after seeing your number of Posts.
I know better
Wondering if you may have a Kal Machine...
Bob,
If possible that marking is a R instead of a P,
I Also found R.K. Machine Tool Co. Detroit, Mi in War Baby page 390, listed as a misc part supplier to QHMC, but no letter code listed. Page...
