Hello
I am retired military and law enforcement and recently purchased a Model 1909 Mauser carbine and have started the cleaning process.
Hi I am a New member and I am just finding my way about the Site,
Pleased to meet you all , i am interested in all types of shooting and have just aquired a Long Branch Lee Enfield Mk4 1943 unused I had to shoot it in.
Other Disaplines 1000 yrd Benchrest ,600yrd,and any fun shoots.
Hi, my hunter safety card is dated 1956. Needless to say I have been a "gun user" for many years. I've been buying Browning-style "humpbacks" to fill out my hunting collection. I'm also an "antiquer" and I've collected a few older guns. Right now I'm focused on my 1816 Flintlock Musket, 1824 Harper's Ferry, with a Belgian conversion. I'm missing some parts and I would like a referral to a place where I can get parts to restore the 1816 to its post-conversion (percussion) state. I hope to shoot it once and then hang it on the wall.
I also collect Winchester '94s and 1911s

Just signed up. I frequent another board and visit several. I'm a grumpy old man, Vietnam veteran, long-time gun enthusiast, and retired postal employee (altogether a worst-case scenario combination).
In particular, I'm interested in the M1Rifle and other US martial arms of the 20th Century; Mauser rifle; Swiss
stuff; Austrian M95 stuff. Shoot rifle, pistol and shotgun on the range.
I like to think of myself as a fairly experienced and seasoned handloader (meaning after having done it for over 25 years, I haven't blown myself up yet). Have done experimental work with some obsolete milsurp calibers.
So, hope to learn something and possibly help others learn along the way.
Hey all...
Finally got some extra money, so I started buying rifles, because I've been wanting to get into guns for a long time.
I have always been interested in shooting and especially military weapons - surplus and civilianized models.
I currently have a Savage 64 (new), WASR-10, and I just picked up an M1903 style gun... still trying to find out more about it though. I did submit a question about it on M1903.com. I'll post more about it in the proper forum.
I have 9 air guns for shooting in the backyard without getting law enforcement called on me as well.
My plans are to pick up either a K31 7.5 Swiss, or a Yugo or Czech
Mauser in the next week or so. Possibly an M91/30 as well. Who knows, I might just end up picking up a superb condition Lee Enfield from that shop.
Anyway, that's my story.
