INLAND 6,237,205 Now on GB

The Inland listed is the one I tried to ID thru some pictures sent to me. Plus tried to ID parts with the dealer over the phone.
You'll see his last picture is the Data sheet I started with info I could make out from those pics and his answers from my questions.
I had highlighted the other things for him to ID and fill out.
I see he's missed filling out some markings and made some errors on it.
It's all Inland and seems to be correct for the serial range.
But I can now see that the oil lube/drain hole is on the housing. Possibly done along with the flip safety while at the Red River Army Depot.
Even with these couple upgrades, this is one really nice Inland.
I have no $$ interest in it.
Just trying to share a very nice example of a carbine released in 64 with you.
I'm surprised it's only a 1 day auction.
I just wish he lived closer and I could have filled the Data sheet out by myself.
Working the night shift is getting old !

Charlie,
I would agree that a flip safety's not correct for the serial #. Perhaps I miusunderstood you, but I believe the type 5 trigger housing with oil hole is correct for a 6.3 mil.
As you noted, that sure is a nice looking Inland.
Thanks for your info.

Hi John!

Good to see you posting. Have you made any new acquisitions lately?

The type 5 housing started about mid 1944 in the 5.5 million range for Inland so it would be correct for one in the 6.2 range.
