Proper Sling/slings for Finnish captured 91/30?

What is/are the proper sling/slings for a 91/30 which has no alterations other than an SA stamp and a Finn front sight? It does not have the wire hangers.

Should it have the wire hangers and a Finn leather sling on it?

Should it have one of the Sovieticon mesh and leather dog collars on it?

Should it have something completely different on it?

My research seems to indicate that the Finns did use Soviet slings but I imagine most of the slings out there today are post war.

It also seems to indicate that the wire hangers and leather slings were used but in that this currently does not have wire hangers, would it be appropriate to get a set and use them with the leather sling? Both the wire hangers and the leather slings seem to be available.

The Finns would have used both, they did not throw away the captured slings they would have used it for sure. I would stick to the soviet dog collars. But it's your choice as to what you want. Both would be appropriate to the rifle

Finnishicon Slings - one of my favourite topics!!

For a Finn captured Sovieticon M91/30 that retains the usual 'dog collar' slots in the stock, the most appropriate sling would be a Finn captured Soviet M91/30 sling - like this...

    or like this...

These seem to be plentiful at the moment - Cheaper than Dirt is selling them in three packs for not much money...

However, if you found a set of the Finnish wire hangers then you could use one of these...

Late Continuation War depot replacement web sling..

    Relatively common Green M39 sling...

Pre to early war Brown leather M91/M27 sling...

Any of the above slings could be use with dog collars also. Its probably important to remember that the Finns used any sling they had on hand on any type of rifle. I have a photo of a Finnish soldier in 1943 with a Carcano sling on his M39...
