    Colt scope for SP1

Does anyone have the instruction booklet for a Colt scope (3X) that was made in Japanicon. It has a single screw that is mounted through the carrying handle of older Colt AR's like the SP1? I was curious about the procedure for zeroing it. Thanks in advance.

Make sure the scope is securely mounted on the rifle. Place the rifle in a secure mount, remove the bolt, look at a target bulls-eye (thru the bore) at 100 yds. Set the bullet drop compensator (the large top knob) at 1 to 2 Adjust the windage/elevation screws to the center of the bulls-eye. Or...use a bore sight. This should get the rounds on the paper. At 100 yds one click is 1MOA(minute of angle). That is....one click will move the point of impact 1 inch. Fire 3 rounds and adjust accordingly.Repeat as necessary. I really like this little scope FWIW.

I don't have the manual for the 3X but, I could probably scan the manual from my 4X and email it to you?

That manual came in real handy! I've had a 4x scope for my M4 clone for a while and have been searching for the manual for a while...
