so the trigger pull on my cmp wra was messed up

i switched trigger guards from another m1 and it was fine. seemed like the back end of the trigger was hitting the wood on the stock. it was the only trigger housing group that did it.(i got about 8 garands last time i looked). i switch and changed many trigger housings and stocks.

    so i says to myself,

    "WTF?"
    ..
"why should the trigger in this housing hit the wood when all the other ones don't?"
and then i just ground a bit of metal off the back top side of the trigger.
    and now it works fine.

now, i'm wondering if i might have it might caused any problems i'm not aware of. i got more triggers.

the top one was the one i ground down a bit.

i probably should have checked here first. anybody got any scholarly (or unscholarly) inputs?
    ..
i'm thinking maybe it was an aftermarket or a scummy civilian trigger.
    ...
    thx,
