    What shot do I have?

I picked up a box of US shotgun shells this weekend in Chantilly, VA. (Dulles Expo Show). It is still in the brown foil wrap. Wrap is marked as follows:

    25 Shells
    Shotgun 12 Gage
    Ammunition Lot W.R.A. 22219
    Winchester Repeating Arms Company

Without opening it, can anybody tell me the load by the lot number? I'm guessing #8 shot, but I'm hoping it's OO Buck.

I also picked up 3 boxes of Western Field 16 Ga #1 Buck that were US Property marked. Any idea what these were for?

    Thanks!

BLOODHOUND.....every box that I have ever had or seen that is marked as u described, as always No.8 chilled shot. Any box that has had brass or paper OOB, were always marked "OOB" and either "PAPER" or "BRASS" as the case may be. I am refering to the 10rd and 25rd generic marked US Issue boxes. The commercial boxes, were plainly marked on the boxes. HTH.......bob
