    stripper clips

I have a bunch of stripper clips. Some have empty .30 carbine brass in them and some don't. Is there a market for them or would I be wasting my time with photos and ads? Thanks.

ob, I don't know how much they would bring, but I did notice that cheaper than dirt sells them and sometimes they list as out of stock. They do not seem to list for much money. Did you check GB and Ebay history to see if anyone has sold any in the past?

A few of us have worn-out stripper clips needing replacement. I keep a few loaded up for emergency use. I can tell you that the old style with the spoon attached would be more desirable. Re-loaders might be interested in the brass.
It wouldn't take too much effort to grab a few pictures and post 'em.

Here is a photo of the ones that have brass in them. There is a full layer in the box under those that are visible. I probably have this many clips without brass also. There are other clips that the spoon is wider and the clip is about one cartridge longer??

Hi. I did look on EBay and found prices all over the place with some as high as $1 each. That is probably what I will do with these although I'll have to empty the brass from them as EBay don't allow evil brass cases. I have a spam can full of more clips and I think there may be 3 different kinds in there. Thanks for the suggestions.

If you do unload them, do it gently. The little brass tabs at the bottoms are very fragile.
Ya have to remember that they were intended for one time use only.
Let us know what you end up with.

I finally got these unloaded and up for sale on the CSPicon selling forum. I only broke one tab and replaced it with a good one. These are the ones that were loaded with brass and they are for the most part bright and clean with a couple that look like the one on top of the pile. There is a photo of them on the sell site. I have another batch of them in a bucket of solvent to clean up as they are rusty and dirty. Thanks for letting me post.
