    A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered.     Although that photo is photoshopped, they do actually exist. They are called the "obrez" and were used in the Russianicon civil war.

    That video is even painful just to watch it. I can't imagine firing it myself.

    First time I fired a Super 14 (w/old style wooden grip) Contender in 35 Rem, I thought- NO MORE!


    Pachmeyer grips and Mag-Na-Porting made it OK.

    I don't think that firing the above Mosin would be very pleasant, but at least the cocking piece is large and rounded.
