    1903 Rear sight slop...

    Hello,
I just picked up a older 1903 which has a load of rear sight slop.. Can anyone tell me "how to eliminate it"? It going to be used for my son to compete with and I don't want to hear any excuses.
    Thanks

normal to have some side to side play,
a new windage knob will take most of that out, staking the sight bost were the sight rotates on will also firm it up.
cafeful, to hard, and youll never get the sight back on.
