Thank you for providing a moment for all of us to reflect and appreciate. 65 years later, I am deeply saddened by the loss of this man and the hopes and dreams of a future he never lived to experience…

    My Great Uncle

This brave man is my Great-Uncle. I would like to know more about his life in the military. My son and I had the awesome opportunity to visit his gravesite in the Netherlands, where total strangers came up to tell us stories about the war and thank us for giving up our Uncle for their freedom.
It was a day I will never forget.
