    WRA rear sight.

#5720096. I know very little about "staking". Do these pics indicte to anyone that this Carbine has ever had a flipper on it ? It is one of mine and is all WRA parts. I have been told that it is O.K but am not sure. I think it was produced during a transition period. This Carbine is referred to in Carbine Club Newsletter #349, Sept 08, in an article written by Marty Black, but from a Brit proof perspective. David, Roger ?? Thanks, Mike.

I would say with that serial number that is the type of sight (or type II) that it would have had originally. Whether that is the original sight is hard to tell with just that one photo. The stake punch lines up but it does look as though the sight may have been moved after the stake to the left.

    EH Mate,
WRA 5,720,xxx with ADJ rear sight.........very possible as issued.

    Mike,
Can you see anything with your elevation/windage plate all the way to the left?
Any chisel type stake marks on the rightside of both the front and rear dovetails?
I know those Adj sites make it hard to see much.
I'd expect to see the rear ADJ in your serial range.
    Looks good !

We looked over some WRA's in your range here a while back, concerning Rear Sights, bands and stocks.

Questions on a WRA 5,673,xxx - Military Surplus Collectors Forums

    Cheers,
    Charlie
