    M1 Garand Article

I came upon this interesting article written it would appear in the late 40's. While much of what it contains is known I thought it interesting because of when it was prepared and the closeness of the preparer to its history.

    Thumbs up Thanks a lot

What a great article. I am a great admirer of Garandicon and his rifle. This article makes me appreciate him even more. That is an interesting story of the man and his rifle.

The article was written by Lucian Cary sometime between 1945-1949. I never heard of him but apparently he was a gun expert extraudinaire and published gun articles for/in TRUE, The Man's Magazine during this period. These articles were republished in a single book which I recently came across. Anyone ever heard of him?

I can't access the PDF version, for some reason. Could someone e-mail it to me?
