I have a WRA M1 and I have two trigger mechanisms. They both have the same part number on them. The only differnce between the two is the CM stamps are different and the hammer plungers are slightly different. Also when they are out of the rifle and the hammers are up one is loose and one isnt. If I put the loose one in the rifle I can charge the rifle with no problem. If I put the other one in the rifle I cannot pull the bolt to the rear. Can anyone explain this to me.

What is a "CM" stamp?
There are two basic types of hammer plungers. With wings (early) and without wings (late). This will not affect functioning.
Is the "loose" one assembled properly? Does it function properly? You must determine what is making it "loose"

The hammer itself is loose. And yes one has wings and one doesnt. Both work properly. The loosness i am talking about is more like the hammer is just pivoting where it sits. Ill get pictures up as soon as I can and mabey a video clip.
I would try changing plungers and see if the problem moves.
I have not seen a winged plunger that looks like the one that is not working correctly. The "wings" look to long going front to back. Could be a repo or from another country. I have handled several hundred m1's and have not ever had one look like that or be loose like that. It could also the spring was held in the cocked position for a very long time and has lost some of its length from being compressed for an extended period of time.
So I would start with the plunger and if it is not it try the spring.

The loose one is the one that works. The other which appears to have no problems is the one that will not allow me to lock the bolt to the rear. I tried to look on the internet for trouble shooting stuff but nothing mentions the problems I am having.
