Quick update - finally managed to get to the zero range today and tested my repaired Pecar scope. All working beautifully. Thanks to all for the recomendation. Paul has done a great job - highly recomended and a pleasure to deal with. Unfortunately I'll have to find another excuse now for poor grouping.

Final update - during a recent club competition I managed to shoot a 50 v 5 @ 300yds followed by 46 v 4 @ 500yds - max 50 v 10 with the Enforcer and repaired scope (not bad for a bumbling amateur, even if I do say so myself ). Scope and rifle are now working perfectly. If anyone knows Paul personally - please pass on my thanks for his now proven excellent Pecar Scope repair.

    Scope repair in OZ

    Copied from another forum:

Malcolm Eames repairs rifle scopes, binoculars, telescopes and microscopes at Westlake in Brisbane. Malcolm is trained at Zeiss. He can be contacted on 07-3715-5603 or 0407-007-116.

    meames(AHT)bigpond.net.au

The large variety of different "drop in" reticules are no longer available, but I believe Malcolm can replace some Pecar reticules with a Zeiss #8 which is an excellent reticule for all round use. Malcolm offers a full repair & refurbishment service.
