    1970's and 80's Dated M1907 Slings

I thought some of you might like to see a few close up pictures of some of the characteristics of different 70' and 80's dated, MRT marked, U.S. M1907 slings. I believe that all are original U.S.iconG.I.

That 12-86 doesn't look too bad. Some staining?

The two that I got both looked about the same. Was yours in similar condition?

I'd say it was lighter. Really close to a pink-ish tint (but not quite) and not as clean as your 11-85. You can definitely see where the sling attached to the rifle as those places are dark and have the most wear.
