    That Did It

    I noticed a slight indentation where that little tab at rear of the trigger sear that sticks out the back just a little was inprinting into the wood. I relieved a little more wood from the front of the rear action screw, and now the bolt works fine. That tab contacting the wood was binding the sear upward when the action was screwed into the stock. I have a natural tendency to be conservative when removing things like wood and metal from parts because they cannot be put back on. In this case I was a little too conservative. Thanks for your help! Your inletting picture compared to mine is what solved the problem.
