    Hi Christian,

in the UKicon the rifle would be worth approximately £900 - £1000 if it's 100% original with all the original specific marked parts and a good bore which relates to about €1050 - €1150.

    Welcome to the site ...

There were only about 20,000 of these rifles made between 1922-1924.

Check the England - Milsurp Knowledge Library (click here)

The one in the library is also a 1924 ShtLE (Short Lee-Enfield) No.1 MkV Rifle (Mfg by RSAF Enfield).

Examine the 117 picture photo montage, which might help you with some of your questions and ensure what you're buying looks like this.

As far as value goes, I don't know what they would go for in Germanyicon, but they are rare.

    Good luck ..

    Regards,
    Badger

The last matching one on Gunbroker ultimately went for $1500USD. I would guess that they would be more valuable outside of the US, as most of the surviving Mk. Vs are here.

The last one I saw in person was marked at $85USD, but it was sporterized (wood only).
