    Beretta Garand

I have in my possesion a Berreta built Danishicon M1icon Garand. 85-90% of the parts carry the PB stamp, the largest part that does not is the bolt, which is a Breda.
My question is about the barrel, it is marked B.Sid 1954 with a crown over PB.

Is this a Breda barrel, or did Beretta contract for unfinished barrels and rifle and finish them?

The serial # has a PB prefix.

The barrel is Beretta and is the original. That makes it more desirable. What is the TE & MW?

The bolt should be D-28287 with "P.B." under that heat lot number.

28287 is right, but is marked Breda. There is also a elect. pencil marked 5629 on top. Unlike most I have seen there is no markings on the left side of the reciever. The right side, under the wood line is marked PB over D6528201. Gass block is marked PB as is the trigger group (D29290), very low serial#, less than 2000.
