30-40 loading components

I just picked up a 30-40 Krag, serial 52XXX, and am looking for ammo or brass to load and it seems that everyone is out , anyone know who might have brass ? Also I am looking for the rear sling mounting parts, the ring and strap that holds the ring and screws.

Midway had brass ea rlier this year. A lot of guys I think are stocking up. Supposedly Remington runs off a batch of 30-40 before each hunting season. You gotta get it when you can.. fortunately the brass lasts forever.

I've had ammo on backorder from midway for a year and a half, so don't hold your breath. during that time I think I've seen brass available once, maybe twice, but I'm not big into reloading so I didn't pay close attention.

folks at Kraghaus have reportedly got brass supplier lined up but can't get the goods before 2011...
