    Repro Or Real Flip

    Looking to you guys for help with a question on whether or not this flip sight is real or fake. If you don't mind would you take a look at the ebay link and tell me what you think? Thanks for any help.
    M1 Carbine flip up peep sight WW2 gun part - eBay (item 110527817821 end time May-09-10 19:15:20 PDT)
    I saw it at the last minute and bought it but the seller assured me it was original and is giving me a seven day return .

    it's a fake, he doesn't say it's marked like he did on the IP sight he also has for sale. post pics here when you get it, but i'm betting it's a fake/repro.regards

    Thanks for the help folks. I thought I found a diamond in the rough but as pappy used to say "If it looks to good to be true... I am a relative newbie here but I come to this forum often and appreciate the information and knowledge that I get on a daily basis. Thanks Bill

    Anytime you see a "steal" on that site, it probably means that they're "stealing" from you.
    Please post pics of what you got so that we can possibly add that vendor to the member's "bad vendors" lists.
    Thanks for the honest post. We appreciate it.

    This site doesn't maintain a real "bad vendor" list because of legal liability issues, but a bunch of folks here keep their own lists.
    When you get an urge to purchase something, a quick check of the vendor's name here may alert you to a possible problem.
