Practice Appleseed targets and my ole' Swede!

I've been hearing a lot about Appleseed Project shoots and found a couple of unofficial downsized targets meant to be shot at 25 yards.

I shot these two targets with my 6.5 Swedishicon Mauser. Both targets were shot offhand standing with original sights. I'm using reduced load reloads (13.5 grains Trail boss behind 120 grain Sierras.) that I've found to be quite accurate.

The first target is a standard 50 foot pistol target, the second is the unofficial qualifying target.

spread is a little under 2 1/2" for 10 rounds.

    5 shot spread is 1 1/2" or 5, 5's.

Now I need to work on my other positions. I'm also waiting for a strap to arrive. I think it will help tighten the groups even further.

I enjoy shooting off a bench, but there's something about shooting offhand that I really enjoy.

Shoot 10's, shoot safe. shoot often!

I find bench work, just that, work. Standing is my favorite, but I'm no "master" even after many tens of thousands of rounds!

    JMOORE,

Well, I'm there with you..... and like you after too many rounds to count I'm sure not a master, but I get a lot of satisfaction over time with the little lessons I learn and the little bit of improvement I achieve.
